Another platform storage bed that is a step below the Prepac bed above is this Gothic Cabinet Craft. It is an unfinished platform bed with 2 storage drawers, and it is currently priced below $300. This bed has a very basic design, but it is neat and sturdy, and looks very crisp. There is not a lot of fluff going on with this bed, and I like it that way.
The 2 drawers, which are recessed under the mattress, ride on metal gliders which make them very easy to open and close. This platform storage bed ships in 3 pieces, and it is really easy to put together. You can choose the color for this bed or order it unfinished. The mattress does not come with this bed, so you will need to include that in your price if you don’t have a mattress to use.
Be sure to shop online for your storage bed. I can almost always find better deals online that in normal stores, especially on big orders. Usually with big orders you get free shipping, and they will deliver the bed right to your door.

I am a true fan of platform beds, in general, because of their sleek modern desgin, but I like platform beds with storage even more. This is because not only do they have the design aesthetic I like, but they also make better use of the space by giving you storage as well!
My wife and I are in the process of buying a new house (which of course means new furniture) so this post will be very useful to me.

After having owned a lot of different size beds along with a number of of members in the family,a fewthings when getting sheets and comforters is to 1. check the darn size! 2. Get something that you can stick in the washer machine so not having to go to the dry cleaner. 3. Do spend a bit extra to get higher quality. You spend a lot of time in bed, and it should feel good, plus it adds up when you have to purchase new sheets and comforters constantly.
